Nintendo Announces DSi

Wow I am excited about the Nintendo's new DSi -- just not the $179 price point! Ouch!

Here are the specs:

1. 12 percent thinner than DS Lite
2. Built in web browser
3. No Game Boy cartridge slot
4. Screen are now 3.25 inches
5. 3-megapixel camera (also second camera facing player)
6. SD card slot
7. downloadable games: Download games from a "DSi Shop" over Wi-Fi, and save them to the SD card.
8. "DSi Ware" (downloadable) games are sell for 200, 500, or 800 points.
9. Launch Date November 1 in Japan for ¥18,900 (approximately $179)

This has been around but it is still a great project! Ed put a USB hub, keyboard controller and 8GB flash drive in a NES controller, plug it in and play your favorite NES games!
